Mormon Church Announces New Temples in Argentina, India, Nicaragua, the Philippines, Utah, Virginia, and Russia

The announcement of seven new temples drew gasps from those in attendance in the Conference Center.

[dropcap]A[/dropcap]t the April 2018 General Conference, President Russell M. Nelson announced seven brand-new temples located in the following areas:

Salta Argentina

Bengaluru India

Managua Nicaragua

Cagayan de Oro Philippines

Layton Utah

Richmond Virginia

Unnamed City in Russia

Suffice it to say, we slayed this one with our latest temple predictions, save Russia. Honestly, we assumed that with all of the trouble for the Church in Russia, a temple there would be a far time away in the future. We’re assuming the Russian temple is torn between either St. Petersburg or Moscow, but heck, maybe we’ll all get shocked and they’ll drop it in Novosibirsk. Right!

Salta Argentina is an interesting choice that will serve the far northwest corner of Argentina. We had predicted a temple in either Bahia Blanca or Neuquen to better serve the southern part of the country.

We’re thrilled to see the blessings of the temple expand to more members. Just a pity the Richmond temple won’t be done before DC opens back up.
