Just in time for Independence Day, Latter-day Saint artist Nadia Khristean has released a new video honoring military veterans.

That’s right friends, it’s time for another installment of the Latter-day Mixtape. Today I bring you Nadia Khristean, who has released her new video “Keep Us Safe” honoring military veterans. Side note: ‘Keep Us Safe was originally performed by Carrie Underwood, and debuted during the ACM All-Star Salute to the Troops. For this video Khristean partnered with fellow singer Stephanie Madsen and SRVS, and organization dedication to supporting veterans and service members. Khristean, a motivational singer and songwriter regularly produces what she calls “Music for a cause” for her YouTube channel. She has written songs for families of fallen soldiers, addiction recovery and abuse, among many other things. She previously also sang in the a capella group Beyond Measure.

According to Khristeans website, she labels herself as a corporate songwriter whom partners with charities and corporate sponsors to create music videos for a a cause. She has worked with  organizations such as: Operation Underground Railroad, Utah Suicide Prevention Coalition, Utah Foster Care and the Refugee Action Network. During her videos she has partnered with other Latter-day Saint YouTubers like: the Piano Guys, Colby Ferrin, and the BYU Women’s Chorus to name a few.
